Odd produces new knowledge in each of the constituent aspects of development, as well as organizational and institutional strategies for the establishment of new observatories in specific development areas. To this extent, the transfer of technology is the ODD ultimate goal which allows to transfer not only the Costa Rican and Latin American society generated new knowledge but also organizational technologies to other public or private institutions can themselves become observatories of specific areas or faces of development, which are prioritized objects of study by the OdD.
